Wow, what a weekend.  I need a break

Serena and I attended two weddings this weekend.  Serena was shooting Alice Wu and Russell Stevens' wedding on Saturday, and I went to help.  So, we got up at 4:30 am to fly to San Jose and then drive over to Santa Cruz.  It was an amazing wedding. The church was beautiful, and the reception site was Russell's  house. 

Then on Sunday, we flew back down to LA, and attended our friends' Wendy and Johann's wedding.  It was a great tme hanging out with friends.  It was also in great locations at Pasadena City Hall, and over at Twin Palms.  The DJ's were really cool.  I couldn't believe my eye's there was grandma's dancing, and they got a whole conga line with FCBC parents too.  Now, That's a Party!

So, I've put in for the time off, responses are coming in, the food is on order....I'm getting married in a month!

Things are getting hectic, I never thought I'd be this involved with the wedding planning.  My DIY attitude gets me in trouble here.  To be honest, it's a lot of fun, but I'm learning to let go...

I'm the guy that wanted to build my own guitar, guitar pedals, drums, create paintings myself, make my own dark room, develop my own pictures...etc. 

music, decorations, drinks, photos, food, tables, favor, guest list....there's just no way to do-it-yourself .  I guess that's why I'm so thankful for friends and family.
